What types of services do you offer?

We are an independently-owned skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation stays as well as long term care. Our rehab unit was recently renovated and features 25 private rooms and 5 spacious, semi-private suites. Our long-term care unit houses 70 residents in semi-private and private rooms. Both short and long term residents have access to our therapy and restorative services, in addition to 24-hour nursing care.

What is your rehabilitation program?

We offer physical, occupational and speech therapy a minimum of 6 days a week. Our team of therapists works with patients in our 1,500 square foot rehab gym, including a full occupational therapy kitchen and laundry facilities.

Where are you located, and is there visitor parking?

We are located at 2818 NE 145th St in Shoreline, WA. There is a parking lot with visitor parking on the east side of 30th Ave NE, as well as visitor spaces on the east side of our building along 30th Ave NE. For directions and a map, please visit the Contact Us page.

How are the rooms set up?

Rooms on our short-term unit have large windows, ample closets, private phone lines, swing-arm televisions, and wireless internet access. Most rooms in our long-term care unit are double occupancy with privacy curtains, private phone lines, and satellite television. Rooms can be further customized with photos and decorations brought from home.

When are visiting hours?

We always welcome visitors and recommend visiting between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you are visiting outside these hours, please check-in with first floor nursing staff.

How often will a physician or health professional visit?

Physicians will meet with new residents shortly after admission and make weekly rounds of the building. Our nurses have 24-hour access to our physicians and nurse practitioners.

What types of meal service are available? Can I bring in outside food?

Our kitchen provides three meals a day and snacks to all residents. We are able to accommodate a wide range of diets, including diabetic/controlled-carbohydrates, low sodium, and dysphagia/soft foods. Weekly menus are available for residents to select their entrée preferences. Families are always welcome to bring in favorite foods and snacks and are encouraged to clarify any diet restrictions with nursing staff.

Are pets allowed to visit?

Yes. We generally allow domestic cats and dogs to visit, provided they have up-to-date vaccinations and are leashed while in the building.

Is there a beauty salon?

Yes. Our beautician visits at least once a week. Appointments can be made by signing up on the beauty salon schedule. Reception and activities staff members are available to assist with scheduling appointments. Beauty shop prices are available here.

Can I join my loved one for a meal at Shoreline?

Yes. Family and friends are welcome to come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a minimal charge. A private dining room can also be reserved for more formal events such as birthdays, anniversaries, or reunions.

Is smoking permitted?

No. We are a completely nonsmoking facility. No smoking is permitted on facility grounds.
